  • Dante De Gori, CFP

    Dante De Gori, CFP

    Chief Executive Officer

    Dante De Gori, CFP, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB).

    Prior to this, De Gori served as chief executive officer of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (now known as FAAA) – the financial planning professional body in Australia.

    De Gori has more than 20 years of experience in financial services working in various senior roles within financial planning and compliance. He also served for six years as Director of the Future2Foundation, the charity foundation of the financial planning profession in Australia.

    De Gori was awarded the Association Influencer of the Year 2022 by the Australasian Society of Association Executives (AuSAE). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (finance and marketing), a graduate certificate in politics and policy, a diploma in financial planning, has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course (2021), and is currently completing a Master of Laws at the Australian National University.

    A proud CFP professional, De Gori is passionate about advancing the financial planning profession and supporting CFP professionals around the globe.

    As CEO, De Gori is a non-voting member of FPSB’s Board of Directors.

  • Christie Searls

    Christie Searls

    Chief Legal Officer

    Christie Searls is the Chief Legal Officer at FPSB where she oversees governance, policy, compliance and intellectual property matters for the organization. She also negotiates and manages FPSB’s commercial agreements, including those with current and potential FPSB Affiliate organizations and vendors.

    Searls leads the compliance portion of FPSB’s Affiliate Assessment Program, which evaluates the CFP certification programs in 28 territories to ensure FPSB’s rigorous standards are being met around the world.

    She joined FPSB in May 2018 after spending more than 17 years as counsel to, and ultimately head of, the Intellectual Property group at CenturyLink, a Fortune 500 company. The group won the 2013 World Trademark Review award for best in-house trademark group.

    Searls previously worked for Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) where she managed and enforced the organization’s domestic and international trademark portfolio. Early in her career, she was a commercial litigator in Denver, Colorado.

    She earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law, where she was recognized as a member of Order of the Coif.

    A Colorado native, Searls enjoys running, theatre and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

  • Paul Grimes, CFP

    Paul Grimes, CFP

    Chief Professionalism Officer

    Paul Grimes, CFP, Chief Professionalism Officer at FPSB, leads the development and positioning of the body of knowledge, professional standards, certification requirements and oversight framework for the global financial planning profession in partnership with the FPSB Professional Standards Committee, the FPSB Network and other stakeholders.

    Grimes drives FPSB’s thought leadership in financial advice professionalism, guide territory-specific application of FPSB’s standards and certification requirements; and oversees the creation of the delivery of FPSB’s education content and certifications internationally.

  • Omer Ahmed

    Omer Ahmed

    Chief Operating Officer

    Omer Ahmed is Chief Operating Officer of FPSB, where he is responsible for the development and execution of strategic goals and initiatives and maintaining FPSB’s financial and operational health. He also leads global efforts to develop infrastructure to enhance resource alignment and increase operational efficiency.

    Read

    Prior to joining FPSB, Ahmed was the chief financial officer and chief risk officer of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, where he led accounting, finance, enterprise risk management, and strategic planning initiatives.

    He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University and a master’s degree from the University of Detroit Mercy.

    Elle Manton

    Senior Director of Marketing and Communications

    Elle Manton is Senior Director of Marketing and Communications and leads FPSB’s communications, marketing, branding, public relations and digital media. She also works closely with FPSB’s global network of organizations to promote the CFP designation and the global financial planning profession.

    Manton was previously the Head of Marketing and Communications at the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA Australia), where she worked for 17 years.

    Manton holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney. She lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband and three sons. Most often she is found walking in the forest with her active labrador called Boston.

    Dalia EL-Prince

    Director of Business Development and Technology

    Dalia EL-Prince is Director of Business Development and Technology at FPSB, where she overseas new territory pathway model and programming, as well as technology strategy and integration of certification and education platforms and delivery systems.

    EL-Prince joined FPSB with over 15 years of experience in global implementations, consumer experience and technology strategy/infrastructure management in the consumer goods industry. She graduated from the American University in Cairo, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is Egyptian and lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband and three children.

    Sara White

    Director of Network Engagement

    Sara White is the Director of Network Engagement at FPSB, where she leads initiatives, meetings and collaborations across FPSB’s global network of organizations. In driving engagement, she works closely with the network to promote and advance execution of FPSB’s strategic initiatives and other projects.

    Prior to joining FPSB, White spent seven years with CFP Board strengthening firm engagement and growing the number of CFP professionals in the United States.

    She has a B.A. from Connecticut College, a M.A. from the University of Denver Josef Korbel School of International Studies, and resides outside of Seattle with her husband and two dogs.

  • Matt Comber

    Matt Comber

    Director of Standards and Certification

    Matt Comber is Director of Standards and Certification, where he works with FPSB’s Chief Professionalism Officer, the FPSB Professional Standards Committee and FPSB network/external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and deliver standards and certification requirements for the global financial planning profession, including related-programs and certifications.

    Comber has over 20 years of experience in assessment and credentialing, which includes over 10 years as a test developer in various industries. Most recently, he led a nationwide accreditation program, which involved developing and updating standards for agencies that regulate banks and other financial institutions within the U.S. and overseeing the process whereby internal SMEs evaluated the agencies based on those standards.

    He has a B.A. in English from Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania and resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia with his wife and three children.

  • Theresa Mohan

    Theresa Mohan

    Director of Finance

    Theresa Mohan is the Director of Finance at FPSB where she supports the Chief Operations Officer and assists in all aspects of FPSB’s financial functions. She also provides systems and project management support for the executive team.

    Mohan joined FPSB in May 2024 and has more than 20 years experience in financial operations, business management systems and accounting.

    Mohan has an MBA from Regis University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Denver.

  • Michele Logan

    Michele Logan

    Director of Legal Services

    Michele Logan is the Director of Legal Services at FPSB, where she is responsible for designing and implementing FPSB’s Affiliate Assessment program and administering Affiliation and License Agreements with the company’s global network of certifying bodies. She also has primary responsibility for oversight of FPSB’s data privacy and security program and supports other key legal functions, including contract review and drafting and protection of FPSB’s intellectual property.

    Logan has practiced law in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. She has over 20 years of experience in a variety of substantive legal areas including administrative law, international and domestic employment law, natural resources and environmental law and contract law. She holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

    Logan resides outside of Boulder, Colorado with her husband, three children and a mini goldendoodle puppy.

  • Tanya Dahlen

    Tanya Dahlen

    Senior Paralegal

    Tanya Dahlen, Senior Paralegal, supports the Chief Legal Officer and the legal function at FPSB Ltd. Dahlen assists on trademark matters, contract review, corporate governance and Affiliate legal support for the organization.

    Dahlen joined FPSB Ltd. in February 2019 and has more than 18 years of legal experience. Prior to this, she worked as a Corporate & Real Estate Paralegal in Dallas, Texas and as a Real Estate Paralegal in Des Moines, Iowa.

    Dahlen graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science.

  • Ryanne Harrah

    Ryanne Harrah

    Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications

    Ryanne Harrah is Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications at FPSB, where she supports and executes a broad range of internal and external communication programs that focus on building global awareness for FPSB’s mission and activities; supporting content strategy and thought leadership for FPSB and its network; and connecting FPSB affiliates and facilitating global execution of communications programs and events.

    Prior to joining FPSB, Harrah was at the Financial Planning Association (FPA) for more than 16 years serving in a variety of roles including community relations, professional development and public relations.

    She has a B.S. in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Kansas, and resides in Denver, Colorado.

    Nicki Maggiore

    Executive Administrator

    Nicki Maggiore is the Executive Administrator at FPSB. She supports the Executive team and manages day-to-day operations of the organization.

    Maggiore joined FPSB in September 2021 and has more than eight years of administrative experience. Prior to joining the organization, she worked in administrative and management roles in the legal staffing and fine arts industries.

    Maggiore graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado with a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Contemporary Art History from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.

    Carly Cabral

    Administrative Assistant of Network Engagement

    Carly Cabral is the Administrative Assistant of Network Engagement at FPSB. She supports the Director of Network Engagement in the execution of strategic engagement initiatives, meetings, and events with FPSB’s global network of organizations.

    Cabral joined FPSB in January 2024. Prior to joining the organization, she worked in customer service and as an elementary school substitute teacher.

    Cabral graduated from the University of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food.
