Financial Planning Standards Board Appoints Elle Manton as Director of Communications

DENVER, COLO – 6 JULY 2022Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB), the standards-setting body for the global financial planning profession and owner of the international CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification program, today announced that Elle Manton has joined FPSB as Director of Communications, based in Sydney, Australia.

Manton will lead communications, marketing, branding, public relations and digital media for FPSB. She will also work closely with FPSB’s global network of organizations administering CFP certification programs throughout Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East to promote CFP certification and the global financial planning profession.

“FPSB is committed to building greater public awareness of the value of financial planning and of working with a financial advisor that has committed to competency and ethical standards, like CFP professionals,” said FPSB CEO Noel Maye.

“Elle brings deep experience and understanding of how to develop messages and campaigns that will engage the public, and motivate them to act. I’m pleased to have her join the FPSB team and take our global communications efforts to the next level.”

Manton was previously Head of Marketing and Communications at the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA Australia), where she worked for 17 years.

“Elle has first-hand experience of the demands faced by CFP professionals and the organizations that certify them, as well as a solid understanding of the opportunities to leverage FPSB’s voice within the wider financial planning ecosystem,” added Maye.
