Global Financial Planning Community to Gather in Bangkok to Discuss What’s Ahead for the Profession
BANGKOK – 12 OCTOBER 2018 – From 16-18 October 2018, Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB), owner of the international CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification program outside of the United States, will hold its 21st global meeting—this year in Bangkok, Thailand.
The volunteer and executive leaders of FPSB member organizations representing more than 175,000 CFP professionals in 26 territories, as well as the FPSB Board of Directors, will develop long-term strategies for the global financial planning profession, agree on priorities for the FPSB network centered on FPSB’s LASER strategy, and participate in a full-day summit focused on financial planning technology (#FPtech), with guest speakers from the International Organization of Securities Commission’s Global Fintech Network and IBM Watson.
