    Nancy Kistner, CFP, is managing director and wealth planning solutions market director at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. She leads a team of wealth strategists in the New York market and works with high net worth individuals and families in addressing a wide range of financial, trust, estate and tax planning issues. She and her team provide customized strategies for managing clients’ balance sheets, advice on cash flow and lifestyle planning, art planning, income, gift, trust and estate tax planning, as well as wealth transfer and intergenerational planning.

    She and her team also help structure liquidity events and philanthropic giving plans in addition to offering advice on equity compensation, including concentrated stock positions, maximizing the benefits of stock options, deferred compensation and restricted stock. Ms. Kistner received a bachelor’s in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She served on the Board of Directors of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) for six years and was the chair of the Board in 2013. She currently serves as the chair of the CFP Board’s Women’s Initiative and on the board of The Coalition for Debtor Education which is based at Fordham Law School. Ms. Kistner’s term on the FPSB Board of Directors ends 31 March 2019.
